|Log in to your Blogger dashboard and backup/save your current template.|
|Open up your current (old) and new XML template files in the text editor. If you use Notepad++, make sure that you set the language to "XML", in order to get XML syntax highlight feature. That could make our job easier! :D|
|Locate the widgets in your old/current template. A widget is enclosed by <b:widget> and </b:widget> tags and resides in a <b:section> block.|
|Copy and paste the code (inside, including <b:widget> and </b:widget> tag) into your new template file|
|Continue step-3 and step-4 for all widgets, then upload the new XML file using Blogger dashboard. Done!|
